From our President
Welcome to the Washington State Psychological Association (WSPA). As an organization that represents the voice of for Psychologists in Washington, we are committed to advancing psychological science in our field, promoting the professional growth of our members, and advocating for mental health equity. Â
As the current WSPA President, my priority is enhanced communication with members across the state and increased transparency about the important work that this organization is doing to enhance our profession.Â
Being located in Eastern Washington myself, I am committed to building a sense of community for Psychologists across the state and particularly in the eastern and more central regions.Â
Through our engaged committees and board members, we will continue to allign WSPA’s focus to the needs of our members, advocate in legislation for greater parity for clients and our profession, offer CE activities that educate about timely issues and enhance clinical and ethical decision making, provide legal and ethical consultations and valuable resources for all stages of professional development, and serve students, early career professionals, seasoned clinicians and researchers.Â
